Quickbooks Pro - Beginner

This hands-on beginner class gives an overview of basic set up to the new user including invoicing, account receivables and account payables. Participants will learn to use the necessary accounting tools and be able to set up their own working accounting system. Working knowledge of basic MS Windows skills is required.

Basic Business Bookkeeping

The importance of developing a systematic and organized accounting operation is emphasized.  Also covered are review of some of the basic concepts for small business, including accounts receivables and payables, P & L, cash flow and other financial statements.  Usage and definition of common accounting terms is discussed.

Employer Payroll Taxes

Conducted in partnership with the IRS and Department of Labor to help small business employers understand their employment tax responsibilities.  Emphasis is placed on properly preparing employer tax forms and federal tax deposits.

Small Business Owner Tax Returns

Designed to help the sole proprietor/business owner learn more about tax laws that apply to small business.  Topics discussed include expenses allowed on Schedule C, profit and loss statements, reporting methods for social security tax purposes and the requirements for filing estimated tax payments during the year.
